How I dealt with my anxiety and productivity

My Journey: From Constant Dread to Mental Clarity
First a disclaimer: this is my story and experience; however, it's something I firmly believe in, and research seems to prove most of it.
The Fog of Anxiety
Looking back, I realize I felt confused for most of my life. I struggled with:
- Social Disconnect: Not fully following conversations or getting jokes until it was too late.
- Constant Judgment: A persistent state of anxiety, thinking others were judging me.
- Lack of Presence: Not being proactive in conversations and retreating into my favorite pastime: day-dreaming and racing thoughts.
I knew this wasn't "normal," and I felt a desperate need to find a way out.
The Search for a Solution
The first person to make an impression on me was Tony Robbins. I watched his YouTube videos and took extensive notes, but I hit a wall. There was an initial step I couldn't get over—the sheer dread and continuous state of anxiety I was living in.
Everything changed when I discovered Dr. Pankaj Naram . I became obsessed with his videos, watching how he treated people using:
- Specific herbs.
- Targeted body presses.
- Dietary changes.
The Turning Point
When Dr. Naram’s team visited London, I signed up immediately. I met Dr. Giovani, a kind and gentle soul. I began taking the prescribed herbs and shifted my diet heavily toward salads and vegetables.
The result? It took a few months, but the difference was day and night. The most significant change was the total loss of that "sense of continuous dread."
Standing Guard at the Gate
With the physical anxiety lifted, Tony Robbins’ advice finally clicked. He teaches that you must be a guard at the gate of your mind. > You are responsible for filtering the thoughts that get through.
It isn't easy—I still fight intrusive thoughts like everyone else—but it gets easier by the day. You have to choose what you ponder on.
Advice for 2026
I see so many posts on Reddit asking for help with anxiety and "doom and gloom." If you want to improve yourself this year, start here:
- Fix Your Diet: You are what you eat. The physical foundation affects the mental state.
- Control Your Pondering: Try as hard as you can to filter your thoughts. You will fail at the start because it is incredibly difficult, but your mind is a muscle that will slowly learn.
This post is as much a reminder for me as it is for you.
